InnovaCare Health is a top Medicare and Medicaid Advantage organization in Puerto Rico that provides healthcare related services. In 2015, Penelope Kokkinides rejoined InnovaCare and became its CAO. Before re-joining InnovaCare, Penelope served as Centerlight Health Care’s Executive VP and COO where she was in charge of providing strategic direction and overall management of the managed care division. Before working for Centerlight, she was the COO of InnovaCare and also served as the COO of Touchstone Health and Corporate VP for Care Management as well as Disease Management at AmeriChoice. With over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, specializing in managed care industry and governmental programs, Penelope has served as the COO of Aveta Co. and VP of Clinical Operations. She has a lot of skills, one being that she is an expert in managing health care processes and developing clinical programs.
Penelope has a degree in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University, a master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and another master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University School of Public Health. She also has a postmaster’s advanced degree in Alcohol & Substance Abuse.
